On the 17th of February Leo was interviewed by Todd Sheets from the Night Watch Show. This is the accompanying article I wrote based on the contents of that interview.
You can access the 90 minutes long interview either via direct streaming, here, download a reduced copy (from 124 to 36 Megs) directly, or via bittorrent. Alternatively, one can watch the accompanying video here, download a high quality copy directly, or via bittorrent.
According to established tradition, I’ve added time-stamp preambles, of the format: h:mm:ss, preceding each reasonably well-identifiable subject raised so as to ease navigation for the reader. I added a good many links (URLs) to the article so that the reader is at once able to verify claims made and to offer additional background information; the links are scattered throughout the article and are embedded sur place in text and most pictures. I sometimes have used quotation marks for not only quoting Leo, but to also paraphrase him in order to further clarity of meaning.

Who is Leo Lyon Zagami?
Both his parental families have been engaged with the rather obscure science known as alchemy. Although it may be regarded as “hocus pocus” by some, throughout history it has been quite normal for families of power, including Leo’s, to pursue this ancient art with respect to the “ruling of many.”

Earl of Strathmore - The Bowes-Lyon Family
The Bowes-Lyon Family
On his mother’s side, Leo’s lineage traces directly to the Scottish noble Bowes-Lyon family (Lord Lyon King of Arms) and ties in with the Earl of Strathmore of Kingholme. Leo recounts that in the Castle of Lord Strathmore every Friday Lucifer was evoked. Lord Strathmore is an ancestor of Queen Elizabeth II through Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, the late Queen Mother.

The Gregorio Family
On his father’s side, the Sicilian Di Gregorio family produced Barons of the Sacred Roman Empire. Its lineage traces back to the Germany of the 11th century. Traditionally, the Di Gregorio family have been in charge of various Knighthood orders, including the Knights of Malta. This Italian noble family includes various illustrious members such as Count Cagliostro – Giuseppe Balsamo, who was steeped heavily into the world of the occult.

Asia Argento
In addition, Leo’s father, Elio Zagami, is an accomplished Jungian psychologist, a disciple of Carl Alfred Meier, who in turn was a student and research associate of Carl Gustav Jung himself. After having been active in psychological research for a number of years, Elio Zagami recognized the “limitations of contemporary science” and was drawn to research into the paranormal. For a period of several months, in 1984, he hosted a program, invitingly aired at midnight, on Italian television that was about the paranormal and in which he interviewed various people who personally had had paranormal experiences. Among his guests was the famous Italian horror film director, producer and screenwriter Dario Argento. Leo explains that he became friends with the daughter of Dario, Asia Argento, when he was active as a DJ and he was organizing rave parties at the end of the 80s.
At the end of the TV series, Elio Zagami realized that the forces he was talking about in his series “constituted a threat in his ordinary life” because if the forces are reluctant to interact with the conjurer, as apparently was the case with Mr Zagami, they can “manifest themselves pretty strongly.”

Elio Zagami and Consciousness Expanding Drugs
In 1982, Elio Zagami published a book called “Fumastr – The Master of Smoke, which is dedicated to a very detailed study on the hashish and marijuana drugs especially.” Mr Zagami had been fortunate enough to be one of the few legitimate academics authorized to conduct research on the hallucinogenic drug known as LSD. This research took place in Paris and Switserland during the 60s. After LSD had been made illegal in Europe in the late 60s, Mr Zagami resumed his LSD research in the middle 70s “on a more private basis.”

Drugs and the Paranormal
Leo tries to explain that while being under the influence of a mind altering or consciousness expanding drug, one is better able to communicate with the paranormal world – the metaphysical kingdom, of which its extra-dimensional intangible inhabitants are everywhere and all around us at any given time. He states that if these entities find a way to enter into our everyday ordinary space-time reality “they will do that. These entities can be malevolent, demonic, or they can be angelic.” Leo emphasizes the absurdity and ignorance of the idea of calling them “aliens” when they have been here with us “since the beginning of time.”
Todd and Leo discuss the great hippie experiment of the 60s and how the interest in the occult rose with the use of (consciousness expanding) drugs. Leo states that the point of this sociological experiment was to transform society. But who are these occult manipulators seeking to transform society?

Comte de Saint Germain, a.k.a. "The Professor"

Age of Great Transformation
We have embarked on a new chapter of history, a new era which saw great development over the course of the last 100 years. To understand the current level of development, we have to go back to its starting point of at least 250 years ago, “where a couple of characters came into the scene who were very important.” One was Count Gagliostro – the Secret Chief and Supreme Magus of the Illuminati Order [Societas Rosicruciana] and above him was the Count of Saint Germain, “who was someone who had reached a stage of illumination which was far beyond human comprehension.”
Both men had acquired a very profound in-depth knowledge of the metaphysical kingdom, and both were active within freemasonry at a time when its character was very different from what it is nowadays. Back in those days Freemasons were, much more so than they are now, engaged with a rigorous and “in-depth analysis of the metaphysical kingdom and the non-manifested world/invisible world of the entities.” It has to be added that freemasonry, a society with secrets rather than being a secret society, was in those days working more on the Light Side than the Dark Side. Leo broaches on the case of the Freemason and spiritist “Allan Kardec“, who is referred to by “all the mediums of today,” and how the Church of Rome viewed Kardec with dismay and eventually proceeded to order his books and writings to be burned.

Cagliostro (A Rosicrucian Master)

Count Cagliostro – Founder of the Egyptian Rite
A century earlier, Count Cagliostro was arrested by the Inquisition and sentenced to “house arrest” in the Solitary castle of St Leo (1791). Prior to his arrest, he had created his own rite of freemasonry, which was known as the Egyptian rite. Contrary to the other speculative rites, Cagliostro’s rite enabled contact with the invisible metaphysical reality. After having been held captive in the basement of the castle for four years, he died on 26 August 1795. During his lifetime he met with the head of the Bavarian Illuminati Order, Adam Weishaupt, who offered him to become the head of the Council of 12 or the Supreme Council of the Order. Cagliostro accepted and so became the Secret Chief of the whole Illuminati Order. At that time, the Order was then, in a way, opposing the Vatican as they “were in league with the Jesuits who had been thrown out of the Vatican” [precipitated by the passing of the Papal Bull of 1773 - Dominus Ac Redemptor - which demanded suppression of the Jesuit Order]. In 1814 the Jesuits were formally restored and readmitted to the confines of the Vatican and to this day they have been and still are the magicians in charge of the esoteric side of the Vatican and are also in charge of its secret library. Leo stresses that people studying the paranormal need to grasp the importance of the role played by Count Cagliostro “within this whole charade.”
